Fell Swoop

Who We Are

We’re two experts who decided to team up. Why? Because each of us has a piece of the puzzle when it comes to ‘doing things right.’ We believe that user focus starts ages before a site or application is designed, and that everything is easier when a team has a common language. We’re small on purpose, and you don’t get handed off to associates. You work with us and with other experts we bring in when you want additional services. We’re practical, direct, creative, and collaborative, and we love what we do.

Tamara Adlin

Partner & Experience Strategist

Tamara is an excellent kitty-herder and clarity-creator. Tamara co-founded Fell Swoop after several years running her own consulting company. Adlin, inc., worked with clients ‘from Apple to Zillow,’ helping their teams get laser-focused on who their customers are and how those people really think and act. She started consulting when her book, The Persona Lifecycle (coauthored with John Pruitt, Microsoft) hit the shelves. Before adlin, inc., Tamara was a senior customer experience specialist at Amazon.com and she started the customer experience design team for Amazon Services. She came to Amazon from a series of Seattle startups, including Netpodium (acquired by Akamai) and Attenex (acquired by FTI Consulting). Tamara is a popular speaker, mostly because she can’t tolerate boring presentations.
